ELD Providers Inundated With Phone Calls. Calls Go Unanswered Or Out of Stock… Not At Glostone
Even Glostone is receiving a huge volume of phone calls related to ELDs. In talking with our clients we are hearing some big name ELD providers who are out of stock. Worse yet, many lack the phone support needed to answer questions for the units they have sold. A few are even to the point of simply letting phone calls go unanswered and drivers out of luck.
With around 150 ELD providers “self-certified” on the FMCSA website, it was easy to assume many would eventually fall off the list. ELD providers with just a strict “software/tech background” and no expertise in the trucking industry and HOS rules can’t answer the calls or issues drivers are having on a daily basis.
