Glostone Trucking Solutions to Kick Off CMC LIVE Event on Compliance and the Process of Getting an Authority
In just a couple weeks after Glostone Trucking Solutions and sister-company CleanFleet took part of the Oregon Trucking Associations Spring Safety Conference and the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs 28th Annual Conference and Tradeshow, we are on the road to the great state of Iowa for Kevin Rutherford’s trucking seminar CMC LIVE.
This year, according to Truckstop.com’s press release, Truckstop.com Chief Marketing Officer Brent Hutto and Let’s Truck President and Founder Kevin Rutherford are partnering to promote the education of owner/operators and enhance the road toward becoming a better, stronger and more profitable business. They announced the partnership in time for both companies to collaborate prior to the annual CMC event hosted by Let’s Truck. This year’s event will be held at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA, May 16-20.
As guests of Truckstop.com, Glostone will be presenting and kicking off the event. Dave Gray, President of Glostone Trucking Solutions, will be leading two seminars. The first is focused on the step by step process of getting your authority. The second seminar dives into the details around Compliance/Legal.
“I have used Glostone since I started in 2005. They do all those things I cannot, or do not, want to do like, accounting, IFTA, licensing, quarterlies, and more. Allowing me to do those things I do want to do like, finding freight and keeping my truck moving. They stay informed of the latest compliance issues to keep my business legal. They respond to questions quickly. Without Glostone, I would surely have perished long ago.” — Terry Hammond, President, Hammond Trucking Co.
This year’s CMC event will feature five days of information throughout three lanes from which to choose:
- Lane 1 will focus primarily on start-up items for those just beginning as a carrier
- Lane 2 will teach about profitability of the truck, fuel mileage, maintenance and running an efficient, profitable business
- Lane 3 will be geared toward the education carriers need about authority, using load boards, customers, rates, negotiations and more
